this is a 2020 lesson
people will want things from you, right? your time your effort your money your energy your attention, and they don’t care if you run out of it, they’ll still want it. they also want it their way even if it’s not their right to demand so. i can give u the above but i’m fair to myself, i know I have to protect my time my energy my attention and all I listed above, because people will take without caring at all about your situation, they only care about theirs. If you don’t protect yourself all u do is run around for people who don’t respect your time your space your energy your efforts and all that is you. If they are not happy with my unwillingness especially after you have given so much, then it doesn’t matter to me what you think or feel because you didn’t at all consider that you’d wasted a lot of my resources. So what the hell, I fight for me. 🎧
